The Riverdance Singers

The haunting beautiful voices of The Riverdance Singers are closely interwoven with all the other elements of the show, their harmonies and solo passages bringing echoes of an ancient mysticism.

The singers come from many backgrounds and are all high achievers in their own right.  Individually, they have studied and worked the long years necessary to have achieved personal distinction in disciplines ranging from traditional singing to opera and from oratorio to Broadway musical.

Most of them also have other professional qualifications far removed from the stage. But all have one thing in common -- a love of Irish music and and urge to bring it to a world audience in the wonderful new guise showcased in this unique production.

Some are former members of ANÚNA, the ground-breaking Irish choral group which was part of the first-ever Riverdance performance and the show that grew from that.  They, along with the newer members of The Riverdance Singers, create an enthralling sound-world, reflecting both the turbulent Irish past and its confident awakening present.
